A LARGE PEICE OF EXPOSED GRANITE

I went to the Stone Mountain State Park the other day.  It’s the nation’s largest piece of exposed granite.  It has a carving of President Jefferson Davis, Generals Robert E. Lee, and Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson in the facade.  There is a laser light show in the summer nights that animate the horses they are riding in the carving.

I’m presenting that information without editorial comment.

The second two pictures are from the summit, which I got up to by gondola, and if you know me you know me you know I’m afraid of heights so my eyes were closed the entire time so I can’t tell you about the view.

Rest in Peace Fears – Madison, GA

There was a cemetery behind our hotel while shooting Goosebumps in Madison, GA.  I loved the epitaph “She Hath Done What She Could”, and so should we all hope to.

I felt a special kinship with the whomever occupies the plot in the last photo, set apart from the rest of the graveyard by 100 yards at least.  I like to think of him buying the spot and exclaiming “I don’t want to be anywhere near you assholes, even in death.”
